Namasté is a graduate of the University of Kansas School of Social Welfare and owner/ sole therapist at Silver Lining Consulting, LLC
Formerly a Licensed Hairstylist and Redken Specialist, Namaste decided to further pursue her passion for working with others in obtaining a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in social work at the University of Kansas.
Namasté has worked with adults, veterans and families experiencing houselessness, children and families engaged in state funded family services and provided case management services through several local social service agencies and has 5 years of experience in crisis assessment and intervention in Kansas.
Namasté is under supervision with Anissa Pfannenstiel working towards her Licensed Specialist Clinical Social worker credentials. She is also under supervision with Carmy Goodwin with Heartland Play Therapy Institute to become a Registered Play Therapist. In addition, she is Lawrence’s only Certified Basic and Advanced/Enhanced Accelerated Resolution Therapist and is a Brainspotting practitioner. Starting Spring of 2023, Silver Lining Consulting, LLC will be offering the Safe and Sound Protocol to children and adults.
Namasté has boundless interest in the old, the new and the ever-growing research and modalities for treating and improving emotional and physiological states commonly considered symptoms of mental health diagnosis. Particularly those states (or responses) associated with anxiety, trauma, abuse, and PTSD.
Namasté combines aspects of several modalities and theories in her approach to providing therapy. These modalities include Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT), Brainspotting, Play Therapy, Sandtray Therapy, Poly Vagal, Trauma Focused, Narrative Exposure, HeartMath, Safe and Sound Protocol, Internal Family Systems Informed (IFS), Mindfulness, Somatic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Picture gazing and more.
You can expect that you or your child’s sessions will be individually tailored to meet the unique needs of the individual.
Currently Namasté is accepting clients aged 18 to 70+, for daytime appointments, insured through Kansas Medicaid (United, Aetna or Sunflower) or Blue Cross Blue Shield.
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
